When a friend calls or texts you asking to meet, something that he/she doesn’t usually do, you cancel all of your appointments and be there for your friend.
I’ve been in that situation once. I asked seven people to come but only two showed up, and they were people whom I’ve shared several years of my life with already.
I’m doing my best right now to just be there for anyone who asks for my presence. I don’t want anyone to feel like they have to beg for a friend’s presence. It doesn’t matter if they’re just hungry or in need of advice.
You bet my ass I’ll be there when a friend texts or call me. Any time of the day.
I go to unimaginable lengths just to make people I fancy happy. I require nothing in return. My life is a single selfish act.
>what do you mean you sleep for more than 6 hours a day
>what do you mean you sleep daily
For a year now I’ve been gathering leaves, twigs, and branches, piling them to form a big mound, a pyre. With a flair of reckless abandon I will light it up, and whether I burn myself in the process or brighten up the night, I maintain that it will be a beautiful sight to behold.
Only invest your time and money on people who are willing to reciprocate with the former.
